Fire at Brahmapuram waste treatment plant
Kochi: Massive fire broke out at the Brahmapuram waste treatment plant here on Friday at noon. The cause of fire is yet to be found out.
Eleven units of fire force are trying to extinguish the fire. Meanwhile, fire force personnel responded that they are struggling to extinguish the fire due to intense heat and wind.
As different types of wastes are piled up in the plant, minor explosions also take place. The fire is spreading fast due to heavy wind.
