Thiruvananthapuram: CPM state secretary MV Govindan on Wednesday dismissed the claims of technical errors by the Ernakulam Maharaja’s College authorities and alleged that a big conspiracy was behind the “marklist row” concerning PM Arsho, SFI state secretary.
Speaking to media persons here, Govindan said, “We don’t believe any of those (claims). A big conspiracy against the SFI has taken place. Hence, an investigation should be carried out at all levels.”
“Although they are saying that it could be technical errors. I don’t believe that. A thorough investigation needs to be launched to find out who is behind framing such news blaming the SFI,” he added.
Further, Govindan termed the incident a “miracle” and asked who can pass an examination without writing. He asked the media to publish the news when those behind stoking the controversy are figured out.
Earlier, PM Arsho had also denied the allegations and explained that he did not pay the fee or appear for the examination and the personal attack was targeted against the party outfit.
Meanwhile, commenting on the allegation that former SFI leader K Vidya Govindan had forged an experience certificate to secure guest lecturer posts, Govindan stated that he will not support her.
“Let the issue be investigated. The Communist Party does not need to support any of this. We will not support anyone who took a wrong stance,” he added.
