Maoist group enters Kottiyoor, asks family to cook for them

Kottiyoor: A four-member Maoist group reached Kottiyoor on Saturday night. The group reached a house in Koonampala colony, which is a forest area. Police have started investigation into the matter.

The people who reached the house were two men and two women wearing uniforms. The group reached the house at around 7 pm and asked the family living there to prepare food for them. They then took with them groceries, including rice.

The group also gave the family a list of items to buy and handed over Rs 4,000 for this. The group investigated the area and surroundings and returned by 11 pm.
