Mani C Kappan thanks Chief Minister; calls Jose K Mani 'junior mandrake'
Pala: Mani C Kappan thanked Chief Minister Pinarayi Vijayan during his speech at the ‘Aiswarya Kerala Yatra’ venue. The NCP leader said that he complemented development works worth Rs 462 crores in Pala in just 16 months.
Mani C Kappan started his speech by saying that Pinarayi Vijayan helped him in completing these works. Kappan stated that he contributed his blood and sweat for LDF in the past 25 years. He also reminded Jose K Mani that if Pala is the Vatican then there is a new Pope in town. The people of Pala will remind Jose K. Mani of that, added Kappan. The NCP leader also accused Jose K Mani and VN Vasavan of obstructing road development activities in Pala.
"Jose K Mani resigned 5 months after he joined the LDF. Roshi, Jayarajan and Azheekadan have not yet resigned and are still MLAs even though they have joined LDF," Mani C Kappan said.
Kappan also reminded that it was his father Cheriyan J Kappan, who had served 3 years in jail after taking part in the freedom struggle, who had brought KM Mani into politics.
Mani C Kappan also urged Pinarayi Vijayan to watch the Malayalam movie ‘Junior Mandrake’. Similar to the movie, UDF handed over Jose K Mani to LDF and that is when the problems within LDF started. Mani C Kappan also added that he is confident of UDF winning the upcoming Assembly election.
