Kottayam: Pala MLA Mani C Kappan made it clear that his party NCP will continue in LDF and that the party has no difference of opinion in this matter. Shortly after Jose K Mani's announcement about their joining in LDF, Mani C Kappan denied the allegations that he would join UDF.
The MLA stated that the news regarding NCP holding discussions with UDF are baseless.
Meanwhile, UDF convener M M Hassan said that Mani C Kappan had expressed willingness to join UDF. He added that Kappan had told Ramesh Chennithala that they are ready to join UDF, if LDF refused to give them Pala seat.
Welcoming Jose K Mani faction, Mani C Kappan made it clear that the arrival of Kerala Congress will strengthen the LDF. No discussion was held in LDF regarding Pala seat. So, there is no need to make an opinion on the matter. He repeated that NCP is not ready to give Pala seat to anyone else and Jose K Mani has not put forward any condition for joining LDF.
