Kochi: Crucial visuals related to Manasa murder case have come out. The visuals showed accused Rakhil going out to buy the gun that was used to murder Manasa, and Manesh Kumar Varma, the accused in the case, practicing to use the gun. Following this, the police are under the impression that Manesh Kumar Varma gave Rakhil training for using the gun.

The police arrested Sonukumar Modi who sold the gun to Rakhil and the middleman, Manesh Kumar Varma, a taxi driver from Bihar, the other day. The police have found from the phones the crucial videos of the gun training and the accused travelling with Rakhil in a car.

The police had confirmed earlier that Rakhil received training to use gun before murdering Manasa. They had also suspected that he must have gotten the training from Bihar since he bought the gun from there. The evidence that they have found backs their conclusions. Police also assumed that the gun in the video is the same gun used for murdering Manasa.

Sonukumar said in his statement to the police that he had sold nearly twenty guns so far. Several other numbers from Kerala have also been found from their mobile phones. Police have started an investigation by narrowing down these numbers.

The police may again question Rakhil’s friend who was questioned before. His friend is being called for questioning following the arrest of these two men from Bihar.

The arrested in the case, Sonukumar and Manesh Kumar Varma, will be brought to Kochi by Sunday evening. The police are planning to take them into custody and conduct detailed interrogation after producing them before the court.
