Man tries to sexually assault medical student inside train in Kasaragod, escapes

Kasaragod: A medical student filed a complaint alleging that a man tried to sexually assault her while travelling on Chennai-Mangaluru Express on Tuesday morning.

The incident is said to have happened when the train reached Nileshwaram. The girl is studying medicine at a college in Bengaluru.

According to the girl, a middle-aged man, who boarded the train from Thalassery, had tried to sexually assault her. However, he got off the train after the girl took his photo.

Later, the girl filed a complaint to Railway Police after the train reached Kasaragod. Following this, police examined CCTV footage and launched a probe.
