Thrissur youth booked for showing obscene video to minors

Thrissur: Police registered a case against a youth for allegedly showing an obscene video to a few Lower Primary students here. The accused has been identified as Sarith, a native of Puthenchira near Mala.

As per the complaint, the accused had shown obscene visuals on his mobile phone to the students who were returning from school in the evening. He beckoned the kids and took them to an abandoned house nearby, to show the video. The students left the spot in fear after seeing the visuals.

The incident surfaced when the parents questioned the children when they complained of uneasiness. Police informed that a probe has been initiated and the accused, who is on the run will be caught soon.
