Scooter, Rs 1.7 lakh stolen in Pathanamthitta as man forgets to take key

Podiyadi: An unidentified man stole Rs 1.7 lakh and a scooter from outside a bank in Podiyadi, Pathanamthitta. The incident occurred on Monday afternoon when Chiraparambil Thomas and his son went to a private bank in Podiyadi.

Thomas' son went inside the bank for some transactions, and Thomas followed him after some time. However, he forgot to take the key with him and left it on the scooter. When Thomas returned, he found that the scooter and the money were missing. The money was kept in the scooter to repay a loan at a co-operative bank.

The police arrived at the scene and examined the CCTV footage, which showed an unidentified man fleeing on the stolen scooter. The police have started a search for the thief based on the visuals collected from the CCTV footage.
