Man flashes at girls on Nagercoil-Kottayam Express; police hunt for accused

Thiruvananthapuram: The police are in search of a differently-abled man for allegedly flashing at two girls on Nagercoil-Kottayam Express here on Friday.

According to the girls who were travelling to Kollam, the man boarded the train from Thiruvananthapuram Central Station. He was using a walking stick, they said.

The man reportedly stood near the toilet and first flashed at one of the siblings. She video graphed the act and handed it over to her sister. The person apparently came to know that the girls were taking video. He immediately alighted at Kazhakkoottam station and boarded another coach.

The girls provided the visuals to Mathrubhumi News and reported the same to Railway Police to take suo moto cognizance on the matter. It is learnt that police are trying to nab the person based on CCTV visuals available.
