Hirosh, the chemical that was collected from his bag
Kozhikode: Police have intensified the investigation into a man’s suicide in front of a crowd near the Kottaparamba government hospital. Hirosh, a native of Chelannur, committed suicide on December 2 the evening.
The primary assumption of the police is that the 39-year-old consumed cyanide. After postmortem, his internal organs and a sample of the poison have been sent for detailed lab testing, Kasaba Police said.
The incident took place in front of ‘Golden Enterprises’ at Kottaparamba, a private financing company in which Hirosh is a partner. Hirosh had a verbal argument with a person in front of the company, following which people gathered around them. He then took out a white chemical from his carry bag and consumed it. He was taken to a private hospital but could not be saved. Hirosh has another company at Ashokapuram.
Police found around 500 grams of the chemical in Hirosh’s bag and car. They are investigating how Hirosh got hold of such a huge amount of the chemical.
