Malappuram: A man brought to a hospital in Malappuram by police for medical examination turned violent and attacked police. The incident happened at Tirurangadi Taluk Hospital on Friday night.

According to reports, Farook native Rafeeq had been taken into custody over a complaint alleging that he had vandalized his neighbour's house. He was under the influence of drugs when he was brought to the hospital. During the examination, he became agitated and attacked the police officers. The officers had to tie his hands and legs to conduct the medical examination.
