Kozhikode: Womens' rights activist Bindu Ammini was attacked on Wednesday here at the North Beach. The man attacked her without any provocations, Ammini alleged. She shared the videos of the attack.

Ammini has been having a tough time ever since she visited the Sabarimala temple following the Supreme Court verdict that allowed women entry.

"I arrived at the beach regarding a case along with my clients. He stopped their vehicle upon realising they are with me. They ran away and the attacker turned towards me," she said.

Ammini is seen defending the attacker in the videos she shared online. Vallayil police registered a case for creating ruckus in the public space and abusing women.

Last month, she had met with an accident. Ammini alleged that the auto driver hit her intentionally.
