Alappuzha: A man has been arrested for possessing cannabis and weapons in Mavelikkara. As many as 67 packets of marijuana, an air gun and a few knives were recovered from his vehicle.
The arrestee is Kannimel native Muhammed Kunju alias Kochumon.
The raid was conducted based on a secret tip about drug sales in school premises. A local court here remanded the accused in judicial custody.
