As per reports, Gireesh had been boarding private buses without tickets by pretending to be an official of the cyber telecommunication police. He was arrested by sub inspector PC Sanjay Kumar and team.

Meanwhile, a verbal spat occurred between the students and private bus employees at Vilayancode bus stop the other day. Following which, Gireesh intervened in the issue claiming to be police.

However, the fraud came to light after he was interrogated by the Pariyaram police, who had summoned the students, bus employees and Gireesh to the station in order to settle the issue.

Soon after, a case was registered against the accused on the basis of the complaint lodged by the bus conductor. According to the police, Gireesh works as a collection agent in an electrical distribution company.
