Man arrested for sending death threat to Kerala Governor

Kozhikode: The Kozhikode Town police on Wednesday arrested a Naduvannur native for allegedly sending an assassination threat to Governor Arif Mohammed Khan via email.

As per reports, the message, which threatened to kill the Governor within 10 days, was sent on Wednesday.

Following which, a case was registered and the location of the accused was traced with the aid of cyber police. He was arrested by Wednesday night.

According to the police, the accused suffers from mental disorders. He was subjected to detailed interrogation and later released on station bail.
