Thiruvalla: Police arrested a man for misbehaving with a CPI female activist inside a KSRTC bus.
Vijayanandan Pillai (44), hailing from Kollam, was arrested for misbehaving with a woman inside a bus bound for Chenganassery from Thiruvalla on Sunday night.
Following the incident, the woman contacted fellow party workers who arrived at the bus stand and manhandled the accused. He was later taken into custody and remanded. Meanwhile, police also booked four party members, including an AIYF district secretariat member, for manhandling the accused.
