Malayali doctor, friend killed in bike accident in Bengaluru

Bengaluru: Two youth, including a Malayali doctor, were killed in a bike accident at Jalahalli Cross here in Bengaluru on Monday night. The deceased were Kottayam Mattakkara native Dr Jibin Jose Mathew (29) and Gujarat native Karan Shah (27). Parents of Karan are living in Kerala presently.

The accident happened at 1.40 am near JalVayu apartment on the Jalahalli-HMT road. Their bike rammed into a tree near the walkway. They died on the spot from the head injury due to the fall.

Jibin was a doctor in a private dental clinic in the HSR Layout. Karan was a software engineer in Bagmane Tech Park. They were sharing an apartment in Jalahalli.

Jibin's body was brought home after postmortem.
