Malayali bike rider killed in road accident in UAE

Dubai: A Malayali bike rider was killed in a horrific accident in the UAE. The deceased is identified as Kozhikode native Jabin Jayaprakash (37).

The accident took place in Fujairah on Saturday morning. Although he was rushed to the hospital immediately, his life could not be saved. Jabin was an active presence in bike racing competitions in the UAE. He was also a participant in international bike racing championships. He was an employee of IVS Global which provides attestation services in the UAE for the Indian Embassy.

Jabin had been working in the UAE for 13 years. He was living with his family there. It had only been three months since he visited Kerala for vacation. The body is being kept at a hospital in Kalba and arrangements are being done to take the body to Kerala soon.

Jabin is the son of late Jayaprakash and Premakumari. He is survived by his wife Dr Anju Jabin and two children Jeeva Jabin and Jaan Jabin.
