Kochi: Veteran theatre and film actor Kalady Jayan passed away. He was 72.
He died in a private hospital in Thiruvananthapuram due to heart-related ailments.
Jayan was a part of several superhit Malayalam movies in the 80s and 90s, including Artham, Mazhavilkavadi, Oru CBI Diary Kurippu, Thalayana Manthram, Jagratha, Kalikalam, Cheriya Lokavum Valiya Manushyarum, among others. He also acted and produced some television serials.
