Malappuram native tests +ve for coronavirus in Thiruvananthapuram; total cases rise to 127
Thiruvananthapuram: One person more has tested positive for Coronavirus in Thiruvananthapuram district on Friday. The victim is a native of Malappuram.
He had returned from a foreign country and is currently undergoing treatment at Medical College hospital.
This was confirmed by Minister Kadakampally Surendran during his press conference on Friday.
With this the number of persons in hospitals for COVID-19 have touched 127. Till date 139 persons have tested positive for coronavirus in state with 12 recovered. 19 more coronavirus positive cases were confirmed in Kerala on Thursday.
Five persons suffering from COVID-19 have recovered and left hospital in Ernakulam. Two are British citizens and 3 are Italy-returnees from Kannur – a child and parents.
Total of 1,20,003 persons are under observation in the state. Among them, 601 are in hospitals while the rest are in their houses. Out of the tested, 908 samples have come out negative.
