Palakkad: The BJP state unit has revamped its booth-level activities based on the lessons learnt from the recent assembly elections in North India. It was decided that booth-level activities should come under the direct supervision of the state leaders.

A unified system would be adopted in the state to bring together the activities of booth committees. For this, the minutes book will be formulated and distributed among booth committees. There is no provision for the name of those selected committee members to be removed from the minute book once it is added.

Additionally, the booth committee meetings and general meetings would be held on alternate days.

Details of the meetings and upcoming events should be recorded in the book. Apart from this, the Panchayat Committee office-bearers are also in charge of the booth. Every six months, the district and state leaders should visit the booth and prepare an audit report based on the book.

The performance of the booth will be evaluated along with the work done by office-bearers and members. The distribution of funds to the booths, including election funds, will now be allocated based on this report.
