Major fire in Palakkad hotel; No casualties reported


It is learnt that the fire broke out near the kitchen of the hotel. As gas cylinders were removed from the building, huge disaster could be avoided.

Palakkad: A massive fire broke out at a 2-storeyed building in Palakkad town. The fire broke out at a hotel named Noorjahan Open Grill in stadium bus stand road and the building was damaged completely. No casualties were reported.

Fire force team extinguished the fire after hours long effort. All people were safely evicted from the building.

It is learnt that the fire broke out near the kitchen of the hotel. As gas cylinders were removed from the building, huge disaster could be avoided. The cause of fire is yet to be ascertained.
