Palakkad: A Madrasa teacher was booked for unnatural sexual offences towards a fourteen-year-old boy. Chalissery police arrested Tamil Nadu native Irshad Ali over the matter.
According to the complaint filed, the boy hailing from Thirumittakode panchayat, who was enrolled in a madrasa in Karukaputhur, was assaulted by his teacher there. The matter came out in the open after the boy was taken for counselling by his parents when he started behaving abnormally. The boy’s parents filed a complaint with the police following this.
It is hinted that another madrasa teacher is also an accused in the case. The police have started a detailed investigation into the matter.
