MA Baby shares concern of overconfidence among party members after survey results
Kozhikode: CPM politburo member MA Baby on Monday said that he is concerned over how the survey results would affect LDF members.
“LDF is receiving high support from the public. Now, the favourable survey results are putting us in spot. We are concerned whether the survey results would build overconfidence in party workers resulting in laxity," he said.
Speaking of the Sabarimala women entry issue, Baby said that the issue was raised by Chennithala and BJP as they are stuck in the indecisive politics within their parties.
The Sabarimala issue is under the consideration of the Supreme Court. If LDF government is in power when the final verdict comes, talks will be held with everyone concerned and a decision will be taken, he added.
Meanwhile, Baby also said that NSS has the right to take an independent stance on the matter.
