M Sivasankar to remain hospitalised for treatment
Thiruvananthapuram: M Sivasankar will continue to remain hospitalized as the verdict on his anticipatory bail plea was deferred to October 28. He is currently admitted to a private Ayurveda hospital near Vanchiyoor in Thiruvananthapuram.
Hospital authorities claimed that his health was improving. He decided to continue with the treatment as the verdict on petition was deferred. The first phase of treatment was fixed for seven days. It is expected that the treatment will be completed before the day of the verdict.
Sivasankar was admitted to a private hospital last Friday after he was taken into custody by the Customs department. He filed the petition for anticipatory bail while he was undergoing treatment.
He was later shifted to Thiruvananthapuram Medical College and then to the private Ayurveda hospital. He is undergoing treatment for back pain in the Ayurveda hospital.
