Thiruvananthapuram: The Local Self Government polls to seven wards in Kerala, which were postponed due to death of candidates will be held on Thursday (January 21).

The seven wards are: Parambimukku (05) and Chola (13) wards in Kannur, Chettikulangara PHC ward (07) in Alappuzha, municipal ward (37) in Ernakulam, Pullazhi (47) in Thrissur corporation, Tathurpoyyil (11) in Kozhikode and Thillankeri (07) in Kannur district.

The polling will be held from 7 am to 6 pm. Counting of votes will start at 8 am on Friday.

The nominations were filed on January 4 and the scrutiny of nominations took place on January 5. The last date for withdrawal of nominations was on January 7.
