Kannur: Several LDF candidates are unopposed in different wards of Anthoor Municipality and various panchayats.
This was clarified after the last date for submission of nomination expired.
LDF candidates are unopposed in Anthoor Municipality (6 wards), Malappattam panchayat (5 wards) and Kangol Alapadamba panchayat (2 wards) in Kannur district, Madikkai panchayat (3 wards), Kayyur Cheemeni panchayat (1 ward).
No candidate from any other party has filed nomination from these places.
