Lockdown: Mobile shops to be open on Sundays, workshops on Sundays, Thursdays
Thiruvananthapuram: Chief Minister Pinarayi Vijayan on Tuesday said that mobile shops and recharge centres in the state will be functional on Sundays amid lockdown.
Garages and workshops will be kept open on Sundays and Thursdays. Spare parts shops will also be allowed to function on these days, he added while speaking to the media after COVID-19 evaluation meet.
The government is also mulling over opening shops which sell fans and air conditioners once a week.
Registered electricians will be allowed to travel to repair damaged equipment at houses. Also, those who repair various centralized services at apartments will be allowed to travel for repairs.
