Lockdown extended in Thiruvananthapuram for a week
Thiruvananthapuram: The ongoing lockdown in the state capital has been extended for one more week. Thiruvananthapuram corporation has decided to extend the lockdown after examining that more people infected COVID-19 through contact.
Triple lockdown in critical containment zones will continue with more restrictions. Wards in Poonthura, Manikyavilakam and Puthanpally are placed under triple lockdown.
At the same time, lockdown restrictions will be strictly implemented in all wards under the corporation. Earlier, a triple lockdown was imposed in the capital city till Sunday.
