Lockdown: CM ensures strict action against hoarding, price gouging of items
Thiruvananthapuram: In the wake of lockdown declared in the state amid coronavirus spread, traders should not exploit the situation, said Chief Minister Pinarayi Vijayan. Involving in offences like hoarding and price gouging of essential commodities will result in legal action against them, he added.
Many such instances have come to light. This will not be allowed. Inspections will be conducted and strict action will be taken, CM further stated.
Meanwhile, he also said that only essential sops will be allowed to function.
