LDF will lose the president post in the Cheruvannur grama panchayat in Kozhikode district following the win of the UDF candidate in the bypoll.

Kerala Congress (Mani) lost to UDF independent in Kadaplamattom grama panchayath in the poll following the death of former president Joy Kallupura.

Before the elections on Tuesday, LDF had 21 seats in its kitty. UDF had six and NDA one. Now the tally is 15, 11 and 2, respectively.
