Thrissur: “I will submit related documents before Supreme Court, but not investigative agencies,” said, former MLA and Congress leader Anil Akkara who claims to have evidence to prove that chief minister Pinarayi Vijayan was aware of a violation of the Foreign Contribution (Regulation) Act (FCRA) in the Life Mission housing complex project dealings.
According to Anil, CM is the mastermind and was aware of the decision violating FCRA. He disclosed his plan to join as a petitioner in the vigilance case over the matter.
“Enough time passed and central agencies had no difficulty getting these documents. I am not a person sure about the conduct of these agencies,” he noted.
Anil released the purported letter written by the former CEO of LIFE Mission project U V Jose to by Local Self Government Department minister. He elaborated and made claims linking CM.
He alleged that Red Crescent was roped in as a move to cover up FCRA violations. The contract came through Red Crescent. The matter was deliberated at Cliff House and signing happened at the Secretariat. Anil added that the project from Rebuild Kerala went to LIFE Mission in just 12 hours.
