Kochi: MLA Anil Akkara, who filed a complaint against the Life Mission housing project, welcomed the High Court order on Tuesday which permitted CBI to continue probe into the case.
Responding to the verdict, the Congress MLA noted that the HC order is a fitting reply to those who campaigned against him claiming he obstructed the housing project for poor.
“I will continue my fight against corruption till my death without bothering about my posts in political life. I won’t refrain from my battle against corruption and not be afraid of the CPM’s hate campaign against me,” he asserted.
He pointed out that the Supreme Court judgement in farmers’ protest and HC order into Life Mission scam have proved that the judiciary will always support the fight against corruption.
