Sree Parvathy and relatives near the mortal remains of Prajith and Reesha

Kannur: The mishap that shook Kannur on Thursday by claiming the lives of a pregnant woman and her husband has snatched little Sree Parvathi’s parents from her. Sree Parvathi was heading to hospital with her father Prajith and mother Reesha expecting to see the baby soon. Unfortunately, the moving car caught fire on the way and burnt her parents to death.

Sree Parvathy and other three co-passengers could get out of the car as soon as it caught fire. But she could only haplessly scream at the sight of her parents burning after being stuck in the car as the front doors got jammed.

She was enquiring about her father and mother while she was being taken to a hospital after the incident. She was later admitted to the Intensive Care Unit in the Kannur district hospital.
