Kochi: Following the Centre’s decision to lease out the Thiruvananthapuram International Airport to Adani Enterprises, the state government approached Kerala High Court demanding a stay on all the procedures relating to handover.

State government decided to move legally after the all-party meeting held on Thursday in this regard.

Kerala demanded to issue a stay on all procedures of lease and to ban any intervention of central government in this matter.

It is expected that HC will send a notice seeking explanation from the Centre on the plea.

The all-party meeting convened comprising the LDF and the UDF had decided to pass a resolution in the state assembly against the union cabinet decision to handover the airport to Adani Enterprise Limited on a Public-Private Partnership basis.
