Thiruvananthapuram: In an update to the marklist row surrounding SFI state secretary PM Arsho, it has been alleged that a pro-Left teacher at Maharaja’s College was behind the alleged conspiracy to frame him.

Apparently, Arsho has informed the CPM state leadership and explained his part in this matter. He reportedly pointed out the names of those who were behind the conspiracy. According to his claims, a teacher, who was the former department coordinator, was the mastermind behind the conspiracy.

Arsho claimed that there were several complaints against the person, following which the latter was removed from the department coordinator post. Arsho believes that the removal has triggered the conspiracy against him.

It is learnt that the teacher referred to in Arsho's allegations is the leader of a pro-Left organisation Association of Kerala Government College Teachers (AKGCT).

However, Arsho maintained that he had not seen the teacher in any events of pro-Left teachers' associations.

Earlier the CPM and Arsho had dismissed the allegations in the limelight. argument. According to them, the passed remark in the marklist came due to a technical error. CPM state secretary MV Govindan also extended support for the leader.

The controversy erupted on Tuesday after the Kerala Students Union (KSU), the student's wing of the opposition Congress, alleged that the mark list of PM Arsho, a student of Maharaja's College, showed "passed" even though he did not attend any exams.

Meanwhile, the college authorities said that it was the National Informatics Centre (NIC) which falls under the Government of India that published the result.
