LDF will get BDJS votes in Aroor, says G Sudhakaran
Alappuzha: Minister G. Sudhakaran did not deny reports on the entry of Bharath Dharma Jana Sena (BDJS) into LDF. BDJS is not in good terms with BJP recently. The minister said that the votes of BDJS will be cast in favour of LDF in Aroor bypolls. He responded to Mathrubhumi News.
BDJS workers were supporters of LDF and Congress earlier. As they have no candidate in Aroor, they will cast their votes in favour of LDF there. They are not likely to cast vote for BJP. They will not get consideration in Aroor, Sudhakaran said.
We cannot say yes or no to entry of BDJS into LDF. We cannot accept a religious organisation or corporate organisation into our political front. However, some parties are allowed to cooperate with us despite some drawbacks, he clarified.
Sabarimala is not an agenda in the upcoming bypolls. People are not concerned of it at this time. We need not be tried for the same. Pala bypoll result is an indicator of upcoming by-election results, he stated.
