LDF-UDF unholy alliance the biggest problem in Kerala: P. S. Sreedharan Pillai
Kochi: BJP state president P. S. Sreedharan Pillai said there were efforts to tarnish the image of K. Surendran and added that BJP leaders will deal with such issues.
Sreedharan Pillai clarified that the unholy alliance between Left Democratic Front (LDF) and United Democratic Front (UDF) is the biggest problem faced by Kerala today.
“There are 100 seats in Thiruvananthapuram corporation. UDF must explain to the people how has the LDF, which has 44 councillors, been able to win the elections, pass the budget and remain in power for the last four years,” the BJP leader said.
“UDF and LDF are sharing the panchayat president’s post in two panchayats in Manjeswaram. This unholy alliance is the biggest problem faced by Kerala. This is a clear example of the unholy alliance between the two fronts in Manjeswaram and Vattiyoorkavu constituencies. The people must respond to this during the bypoll,” he said.
“When they lost 19 seats during the assembly elections in Kerala, the LDF convened a central committee meeting. However, they did not think about UDF’s forward surge and did not try to stop it. Why is the LDF preventing only BJP’s advancement and not the UDF’s,” Sreedharan Pillai asked.
