Thiruvananthapuram: Left Democratic Front convener EP Jayarajan did not attend the Raj Bhavan march against the Kerala governor Arif Mohammed Khan. An official statement prior to the march noted that he would participate in the programme. However, Jayarajan, who left for Kannur, did not participate in the protest organised there also.
Jayarajan had taken leave for a few days from the party till November 6 due to health issues. He had attended the CPM state secretariat, state committee conferences held on November 5 and 6. He had penned an article elucidating the significance of the protest against the governor in the party’s pamphlet.
He has reportedly requested the party to grant him leave for a month again, citing health isssues.
