Alappuzha: SNDP Yogam general secretary Vellappally Natesan opined that LDF will get another term in the upcoming Assembly elections in Kerala. He also said that the welfare programmes by LDF have benefited the people and they will vote LDF to power again.

Meanwhile, Natesan said dropping P Thilothaman in Cherthala won’t benefit LDF. CPI’s policy of not contesting 3rd timers is good, but it should be looking at the victory possibility. The public may not accept youth or some outsiders, he added.

He also criticised the decision to field Thomas K Thomas in Kuttanad. It is true that Thomas Chandy had contested here. But what qualifications has his younger brother to contest. CPM should take over the seat, Natesan further stated.

SNDP will clarify its stance after decision on candidates. The decision will be taken after social justice, he further added.
