Thodupuzha: LDF has declared a UDF rebel as the chairman candidate for Thodupuzha Municipality. LDF has declared Saneesh George, who contested as UDF rebel in the LSG polls, as their chairman candidate.
It was decided the other day that a member of PJ Joseph faction will become the chairman in the first term. This was opposed by Congress workers themselves.
UDF has the support of 14 members at present, LDF has 13 and BJP 8. It is reported that another UDF rebel will also support Saneesh.
