LDF doesn’t need RSS votes: Kodiyeri

He said that UDF is trying to cover up the trade off with BJP by throwing accusations at the LDF

New Delhi: Kodiyeri Balakrishnan, state secretary of CPM, has reiterated that the ruling party doesn’t need RSS votes in any of the constituencies for the upcoming by- elections and has ruled out any sort of nexus with them.

He said that UDF is trying to cover up the trade off with BJP through Sabarimala action council, by throwing accusations at the LDF. He also asked if the state Congress chief Mullappally Ramachandran is willing to suspend Shashi Tharoor, who echoes the ideologies of the RSS.

Kodiyeri was reacting to the allegations of the congress that there was a mutual understanding between the Left party and BJP in Vattiyoorkavu and Manjeshwaram. According to Congress, BJP would help LDF win at Vattiyoorkavu and in return, the ruling party will help the BJP in Manjeshwaram. Kodiyeri denied these allegations.
