Kochi: UDF convenor Benny Behanan raised sharp criticism against Chief Minister Pinarayi Vijayan and LDF government over the diplomatic baggage gold smuggling case.
He warned the LDF government that they cannot escape from the sedition case by raising the solar scam against UDF.
Benny Behanan was addressing a dharna organized by Congress in Ernakulam on Wednesday. Congress has been conducting statewide protests demanding a CBI probe into the gold smuggling case.
“Chief Minister’s daughter Veena has a connection with Swapna Suresh. Relationship between Veena and PricewaterhouseCoopers (PwC) led to the appointment of Swapna in the IT department. Earlier, Veena has confessed that she personally knows the PwC director,” added Benny Behanan.
