Kerala likely to receive heavy rain till Monday

Thiruvananthapuram: The India Meteorological Department on Saturday predicted that heavy rain is likely to continue in Kerala till Monday. A yellow alert has been sounded in 9 districts on Monday.

The state is likely to receive isolated heavy rainfall from Saturday to Monday, forecasted IMD.

Dec 4, 5: Kollam, Pathanamthitta, Kottayam, Idukki, Ernakulam, Palakkad, Malappuram

Dec 6: Kollam, Pathanamthitta, Kottayam, Idukki, Ernakulam, Palakkad, Malappuram, Kozhikode, Wayanad

Meanwhile, in relief for Andhra Pradesh, Odisha and West Bengal, cyclonic storm 'Jawad' weakened into a deep depression on Saturday and is likely to weaken further into a depression by the time it reaches Puri on Sunday, the India Meteorological Department said.
