Thiruvananthapuram: The India Meteorological Department on Saturday predicted that heavy rain is likely to continue in Kerala till Monday. A yellow alert has been sounded in 9 districts on Monday.
The state is likely to receive isolated heavy rainfall from Saturday to Monday, forecasted IMD.

Meanwhile, in relief for Andhra Pradesh, Odisha and West Bengal, cyclonic storm 'Jawad' weakened into a deep depression on Saturday and is likely to weaken further into a depression by the time it reaches Puri on Sunday, the India Meteorological Department said.
