Kochi: The Lakshadweep administration filed a counter-affidavit in Kerala High Court on Monday objecting the plea to quash the sedition case against filmmaker Aisha Sultana.

Aisha is not cooperating with the enquiry and she deleted information from her phone soon after charging the case, the administration alleged. She also failed to submit necessary documents, the authority said in the counter affidavit.

Aisha filed a petition to quash the case soon after securing an anticipatory bail. She is seen surfing the phone on the TV visuals before making the ‘bio-weapon’ statement. We have to find out whom she contacted, the administration stated.
