Kochi: Disgruntled Congress leader KV Thomas on Friday said that he will open his mind on the Thrikkakara bypoll on May 10. "I will explain everything to my people," he told Mathrubhumi News.
Thomas has been fighting with the state leadership of Congress for quite some time now. He was denied election tickets multiple times despite his requests. He faced disciplinary action for attending a seminar organised by CPM in Kannur. Since then, he is openly criticising the state leaders.
He said VD Satheesan is acting like an autocratic leader.
In the earlier interviews as well, the former union minister did not extend his support to the candidate of his party, Uma Thomas, wife of his former colleague PT Thomas. He instead said that he stands for 'development of Kerala'.
The SilverLine debate is taking a centre stage in the Thrikkakara campaign and LDF is projecting itself as the advocate of development while accusing UDF of being anti-development.
Uma Thomas said that she still doesn't think that KV Thomas will campaign for LDF.
Thomas had earlier said that he will always be a Congressman.
