Kummanam flays police over security failure in Kannur
Thiruvananthapuram: BJP state president Kummanam Rajasekharan on Tuesday alleged that police failed to ensure security in Kannur. He noted that police witnessed the murder of RSS worker in Kannur who was killed in retaliation of the CPM leader’s murder.
“There is no difference between the twin murders in Kannur. Strict action should be taken against the accused in both murders. Culprits should be prosecuted irrespective of political parties,” said BJP leader.
He added that political murders are increasing in Kerala for the last two years. He said that Chief Minister Pinarayi Vijayan is obliged to given an explanation to the political violence in last two years in the state.
“People behind violence are free to continue such activities in Kerala. Police became a complete failure to protect the life and property of the people who are living in conflict and violence-hit areas,” criticised Kummanam Rajasekharan.
