Kochi: MLA KT Jaleel will appear before the Enforcement Directorate in connection with the complaint filed on financial irregularities associated with 'Chandrika' daily. It is learned that Jaleel will appear before Enforcement Directorate on Thursday to hand over the evidence in regard to this case.
On September 2, Jaleel had appeared before the Enforcement Directorate office and gave evidence against Chandrika. Back then, Jaleel responded that the Enforcement Directorate has requested more information and evidence in connection with the incident.
Jaleel will give evidence over the complaint that black money worth Rs 10 crore was laundered through Chandrika's account.
Meanwhile, the Chief Minister on Wednesday dismissed Jaleel’s call for ED’s intervention in the probe into the AR Nagar Co-operative Bank. The Co-operation Department and the CPM expressed dissatisfaction over Jaleel's remarks.
