Thiruvananthapuram: KSU activists staged a protest against the exams during the unprecedented spread of COVID-19. The protesters snatched the question papers and threw it away. The incident took place at the College of Engineering Trivandrum.
KSU had earlier informed that they would boycott the exams. KSU state office-bearers entered the exam department and took the question papers of the B.Tech third semester examination away and hurled it.
The incident took place around 9 in the morning. The officials cancelled the examination as the question paper file was broken before the examination. Right after the question papers were distributed to the exam halls, three KSU officers barged into the exam department and took the question papers.
The examination was cancelled as the papers came out before giving to the students.
However, the college authority officially informed that the question paper wasn’t leaked. The principal said that the protesters hurled graph papers.
The exam was cancelled as a precaution. Following this, KSU activists staged a protest in the college. Finally, police rushed to the college to make the situation under. A few KSU activists were injured in the scuffle with police.
